And here is round #2 for the evening. I usually have some kind of witty introduction and I can’t think of one for this. There is a reason I go at least two days in between posts! It gives me time to fuel up my snark and sarcasm. So I will just tell you our thought process for how we pick dances:
Usually we are pretty good about finding a dance that goes to a song we hear (if we don’t have a standard one already). We can sit there and listen to “My Kind of Party,” tap a few bars with our feet, and then agree that “Kick Back” (Smoke a Little Smoke) can be used and do our thing. And then there are some songs where we find that nothing quite fits or we are bored with the dance that does fit. “All About Tonight” was one of those dances a few weeks ago. So what one of us will do is go YouTube or Google search until we find something that fits and that we want to learn. A quick Facebook message is kicked off… and then in a week or so after we determine it’s a dance we are going to put into our rotation, you all get to read our inane ramblings about it… and eventually get to a video.
